About Us
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are co-educational, fully residential schools established under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The JNV system was created to provide quality modern education to talented children, particularly from rural areas, irrespective of their socio-economic background.
JNVs provide education from Class VI to Class XII in a residential environment. Along with academic excellence, the schools focus on character building, discipline, leadership, sports, cultural activities, national integration and the overall development of students.
The JNV system aims to identify talented students from rural and other areas and provide them with opportunities and facilities comparable to those available in the best residential schools.
