About Us
Assam Rifles Public School was founded on September 1, 1980, by Lt. Gen. Sushil Kumar to provide quality education at an affordable cost. It is a co-educational school affiliated with the CBSE and is designated as a Sports Authority of India (SAI) sports school under the "KHELO INDIA SCHEME".
The school is primarily a residential institution with approximately 500 hostel seats, serving children of Assam Rifles personnel, civilian students, and individuals sponsored by the Sports Authority of India and the North Eastern Council.
